PMI SFBAC is the local chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI), an international non-profit association for advancing the profession of project management. Through administration of the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification program, international and regional seminars, geographical membership services, and industry level services through its Specific Interest Groups (SIGs), PMI has committed to helping its members advance their career to become the best project managers in their field. Over its 35 year history, PMI SFBAC has grown to over 2400 members and is the 18th largest chapter in the international organization.
Our members are doers who want to contribute to their profession by bringing their own unique experiences and strengths to their chapter, but they are also eager to learn and gain new insights and skills through opportunities presented by their peers.
Members hone their leadership abilities while managing to retain a willingness to follow.
If you are not already a member, we invite you to register for some of our events, which are open to non-members. We also invite you to come to one of our many roundtable breakfasts to talk with other PMI SFBAC members on what they have gained through their membership.
